The Way We Use Information:
We use the information you provide about yourself when you contact us for assistance, request materials through our website, or to register for a workshop, only to complete your request. If you sign up for our newsletter, your e-mail address will be used by our e-mail distribution service, Vertical Response, to send our newsletter and other messages from us occasionally.  Vertical Response will not share your e-mail and you will have the option to unsubscribe any time.

Within our organization, only the professionals who need to know in order to fulfill your request will use the information. The information you share in a request for assistance or materials will be stored in a secure internal database for the purposes of tracking your request and our services. Once you have submitted your request or comment, the information you share no longer appears on the website.

If you receive a service from us through this website, we will enter the mailing address and/or e-mail address that you provide in our internal, secure database for the purposes of informing you about events or upcoming workshops that may be of interest to you or information about opportunities to donate in support of our services. You will always be given the option to ask to be removed from any list.

We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our website, to plan services, and to share with funding bodies as needed. For example, we may tell a program funder that X number of individuals visited a certain area on our website, but we would not disclose any information that could be used to identify those individuals.

Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without asking your permission and without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.
