The Family-School Partnership offers the following services:

Workshops: Develop your skills and gain knowledge on a wide range of topics such as special education, advocacy, and planning for life after high school.

Information and referral: Learn about parent rights, special education laws and regulations, strategies for navigating the special education system, information about specific disabilities, and information about community resources. If we are not able to meet your needs, we can refer you to an agency that can. Please call us with questions at (585)546-1700 or use the online form on our Contact Us page.

Parent Member Training: Have you ever considered becoming a parent member for the Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) or Committee on Special Education (CSE) in your school district? Do you know what a parent member is and what role they play at a CPSE/CSE meeting? For more information about becoming a CSE parent member click here

Conferences: We are offering a one day conference in October 2010…check back at the site for more information.
