2010 event - Thanks for helping to make it a success!

June 10, 2010

Music, salsa dancing, and lively bidding at the silent auction helped to make the 5th Annual Night of Hot Jazz and Cool Art a big success.  Hundreds of guests enjoyed the evening, which was emceed by Norman Holland of 13Wham-TV.

Jimmie Highsmith, Jr. and his band opened the evening with smooth jazz.  They were followed by the Mambo Kings, who got the crowd up and moving!  As in past years, the auction showcased photography, pottery, paintings, woodworking, and a variety of other pieces donated by local artists, along with gift baskets donated by local businesses.

City Council Member Matthew Haag, Assemblyman Joseph Morelle, Senator Joseph Robach, and Senator James Alesi were on hand to help present the Community Awards

Our sincere thanks to MVP Health Care, our presenting sponsor, and our other corporate sponsors, in-kind donors, well wishers, volunteers, guests, and all who helped to make the evening a success!
